2021 Ford Edge Trunk Space

Midsize Crossover with Plenty of Cargo Areas

Unlike other midsize crossovers, the 2021 Ford Edge has two rows with seating for five, giving it more cargo space than the competition. The Edge comes standard with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine that gets an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 21/29 MPG on the front-wheel-drive model.

At Group 1 Ford of Rivertown, we proudly feature the 2021 Ford Edge and the rest of the Ford lineup of vehicles. Our sales staff would love to show you around the Ford Edge so you can see all of the room in the midsize crossover. Contact us today.

More Cargo Space than the Competition

One of the first things that drivers notice about the Ford Edge is the spacious interior dimensions in the cargo room and seating space. Passengers get 113.0 cubic feet of space. When both rows are in place, the cargo space in the trunk is 39.2 cubic feet. With the second row folded, the cargo volume increases to 73.4 cubic feet, which provides enough space for 29 carry-on suitcases.

Comfortable Seating for Five

The Edge has seating for five adults, with two in the front and three in the rear seats. The 2021 model year Edge comes in five trims, and they all have the same 112.2-inch wheelbase, 188-8-inch length, 75.9-inch width, and 68.3-inch height.

The driver and passengers have plenty of headroom with 40.2 inches in the front and 40.3 inches in the rear. The legroom is 42.6 inches in the front and 40.6 inches in the rear.

The driver and passengers get a variety of seating surfaces and amenities inside the Edge. Ford Motor Company put cloth seats in the SE, ActiveX seating surfaces on the sporty SEL and ST-Line. The Titanium and ST have leather-trimmed seats.

All models except the SE have heated front seats. On the ST trim, second-row heated seats are an option, while the front row seats have Driver’s Seat Memory. The second-row fold in a 60/40 configuration, and all models except the SE have Second Row EasyFold® Seat with Rear-Seat Back Release so the seats fold flat for added cargo capacity.

For entertainment and information on the road, the Edge comes with a 12.0-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with a Wi-Fi hotspot.
